Black Score is the 2nd line of Simeon Farrar, founded in 2012. The collection is rooted in the DIY punk scene and has a rebellious attitude. The prints form an ode to the cultural movement and icons that influence Simeon. The most popular series will be combining two different logos (Miu Miu x New Balance, Snoopy x Gucci) or crossing or twisting the form of a logo. The brand also does its authentic drawing of cats/dogs, make fun of the popular characters in form of matches, play with the most recent talking points – masks, social distancing etc.
For SS21 collection, the themes were about pandemic – masks, social distancing, sanitising and popular cartoons character – Hello Kitty, Mickey Mouse, Peanuts, Bugs Bunny, Snoopy, Sponge Bob etc. New colours would include two tie-dye colours (FILL & MULTI) applicable to all the tees (BSMCC, BSWC, BSL, BSCC). New products would include cropped tees, sweats and hoodies, leggings for ladies.
For FW21 collection, apart from new prints - films–related, double labels & logo crossings etc, there are three new tie dye colours (orange mix, pink mix and bleach black), applicable to all sweats/hoodies (cropped or normal). For leggings, there added a tie-dye version, a little bit thinner than the black one, lower waist, same price. A new category – baseball cap.
